Parliamentary law bars Harper from re-election.... →
anarchistcatnip: On Friday March 25, 2011 the Canadian House of Commons found Prime Minister Stephen Harper guilty of contempt of Parliament. According to parliamentary law, contempt of parliament is a federal crime. Being that Harper has been found guilty of a crime Harper is barred from seeking re-election on May 2, 2011.   No federal government or cabinet minister has ever been found...

cleverenoughforsome-deactivated asked: Aha-ha-ha.

If I'd had enough money for another year I would have stayed to pursue a PhD...lol
I figured you meant London, Ontario. Few people here, in Canada, seem to mean the other place. ;). Just thought I'd mention that Liverpool has an amazing Special Collections archive. I totally wanted to ransack it before I left.
I actually imagine the program here...

cleverenoughforsome-deactivated asked: I seem to be dominating your Ask box. I was curious as to where you've gone to get tattoos done in the GTA? I've only been to Yonge Street Tattoos, and have been looking to shop around for some other artists in the area; thoughts?

cleverenoughforsome-deactivated asked: I should probably ask a question, rather than write an inane rambling statement. What are you studying now, and what do you plan to take for a Masters?

P.S. Don't be jealous of the Masters, it was one of those impractical ones. I mean, a Masters in Science Fiction Studies... Not much I can do with that...lol

cleverenoughforsome-deactivated asked: Either place is good, though I think London is a little more Podunk than it should be. Ottawa is probably one of my favourite places, at least in Ontario, outside of the GTA. It's got the right mix of things, and of course if you feel the need you can always take a ride past Parliament Hill to hurl insults at politicians. :)

cleverenoughforsome-deactivated asked: Since my reply seems to have gotten lost in the mysteries of Tumblr. I've got a HBA in English and History, and a Masters of SF from University of Liverpool.

cleverenoughforsome-deactivated asked: I have been meaning to inquire as to what a "mixed-media" artist is (from your Twitter description)? I would also like to add that I enjoyed your University of Toronto sweater photo. As an alum of one of UofT's "lesser" parts (UTM) it was nice to the see the school represented.

Thanks.

this makes me miss jason. =o( stephandelph: Have you noticed any change in Bart? New glasses? No…he looks like something might be disturbing him. Probably misses his old glasses. I guess we could get more involved in Bart’s activities but then I’d be afraid of smothering him. Yeah, and then we’d get the chair. That’s not what I meant. It was, Marge, admit it.
